About the event
The Adoption Council of Canada is pleased to facilitate an online Ottawa Youth Speak Out leadership and advocacy workshop.
Do you have lived experience in the Child Welfare system?
The experiences that you've had with foster and group care, with birth families, customary care, kinship care, with adoption and aging out of care, mean that you are in a position to affect change within the system, inform, educate and motivate your peers, and build public awareness.
Please join us for a free online workshop to learn how to advocate!
Lunch will be delivered individually free of charge and all participants will receive an honorarium.
