Richmond Hill Digital Storytelling Workshop
Current and former youth in care, as well as those who have found permanency create short films with the help of professional photographers/filmographers. They have the option on how best to use the films for advocacy, education, personal use, etc. Spots are limited!

About the event
JOIN US FOR A FREE THREE-DAY WORKSHOP TO CREATE A SHORT FILM TO TELL YOUR STORY OF FOSTER/GROUP CARE, KINSHIP, AGING OUT, OR ADOPTION!
If you're between the ages of 12 and 30 years old, live in the Markham/York region, have experience with the child welfare system and would like to learn how to advocate for change through a variety of mediums including the creation of a digital story, join us February 8th, 9th & 10th!
All meals will be provided (Friday - dinner; Saturday - breakfast, lunch & dinner; Sunday - breakfast & lunch). Transportation available.
