The Adoption Council of Canada is pleased to host an online event to thank our community for their support and to recognize the youth who have benefited from the Youth Speak Out and Digital Storytelling programs.

About the event
Digital storytelling is a project that works with youth in and from child welfare to tell their story, from their perspective. The filmmakers, aged 13 - 29, create three-minute films about their experiences in foster care, with birth families, customary care, kinship care, adoption and/or aging out of care.
Youth Speak Out training helps youth in and from child welfare to develop leadership and advocacy skills to affect change within the system, educate and motivate their peers, and public awareness.
Please join us to learn more about the Youth Speak Out and Digital Storytelling Programs and the youth who have benefitted from these programs.
