About the event
The Adoption Council of Canada is pleased to facilitate a three-day Youth Speak Out leadership and advocacy workshop.
Do you have lived experience in the Child Welfare system?
The experiences that you've had with foster and group care, with birth families, customary care, kinship care, with adoption and aging out of care, mean that you are in a position to affect change within the system, inform, educate and motivate your peers, and build public awareness.
Please join us for this free workshop to learn how to advocate!
All meals will be provided free of charge during the three days and every youth will receive an honorarium.
Date: Friday August 14 (Noon - 4PM), Saturday August 15 (9AM – 4PM). Sunday August 16 (9AM – 1PM)
Location: DELTA HOTEL by MARRIOTT, 225 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, NB, E3B 2H8
If you have any questions, please email rita@adoption.ca
We look forward to seeing you at the workshop.
