About the event
Digital storytelling is a project that works with youth in, or from care, adopted, in kinship or customary care, or have aged out of the child welfare system, to tell their story from their perspective. The filmmakers, aged 13-29, create three-minute films about their experiences in foster care, with birth families, customary care, kinship care, adoption and/or aging out of care.
Join us live on Facebook for a FREE screening of the DST videos created by the Thunder Bay Youth Speak Out team.
The online event will also feature a panel discussion of youth with lived experience in the Child Welfare System.
